FAQ
A T-shirt can be suitable, but it is often too light and does not fit close enough to the body. We recommend instead a tank top or an undershirt for a "second skin" effect that will keep you warm under your sweater.
Classic wool comes from different breeds of sheep and is appreciated for its warmth, although it can sometimes be rough and itchy. Merino wool, from Merino sheep, is much softer, lighter and more breathable, while providing excellent insulation. It is more resistant to odours and is more comfortable to wear directly on the skin. This is why we use exclusively Merino wool at Les Tricots Marcel.
A wool sweater does not need to be washed frequently. In general, it is enough to wash it after 5 to 7 wears, or when it is really necessary. In particular, merino wool is a naturally odor-resistant fiber and it regenerates well in the open air. Airing your sweater between uses can extend the time between washes. Our sweaters are machine washable.
